For each Part B, there is a guidance document that helps applicants to understand what the Part B is about and what sub-sectors it covers. It includes suggested points to consider.

The guidance is produced by the Sector Skills Council (SSC) or Sector Skills Body (SSB) responsible for the sector and is reviewed annually by the SSC/SSB.

Before submitting a Part B application, providers should read the guidance carefully, making sure that they are able to demonstrate expertise in, and responsiveness to, the sector they are applying for.
